The Rabbi Goes West

  • Join us for an exclusive online screening of the new hit documentary film about a charismatic Hasidic Chabad Rabbi who moves from Brooklyn, NY to Bozeman, Montana, bringing his brand of Judaism to the American west. As his prominence grows, he is embraced by some and opposed by others, facing neo-Nazi threats and resistance from members of the established Jewish community in Montana that don't quite know how to respond to his charisma and brand of religion. Will he succeed in his mission, and at what cost?

If you liked the Israeli TV series "Shtisel," this one’s for you!

We have worked with the filmmakers to secure exclusive online access to screen "The Rabbi Goes West" for 72 hours. The film will be available to view online -- by registration only -- from Tuesday, July 14 at 10 am until Friday, July 17 at 10 am.

Please note that you must register to receive the exclusive online screening link, and there are a limited number of viewing slots.

Please RSVP as soon as possible.

Then, on Monday, July 20 at 8:00 pm, we will have the opportunity to enjoy a live Zoom discussion and Q&A session with the film’s star, Rabbi Chaim Bruk!

The Fee for film screening and discussion is $10.
